OUR STORY

     In the year 2006, a young Puerto Rican couple, Héctor Augusto and María Cristina, took upon the mission of taking the oldest and most traditional rum from Puerto Rico, ‘Ron Caña’, which was illegal for over 500 years, and legalized it as the registered brand Pitorro® to produce with pride and love.

     Destilería Coquí Inc. is today the largest Artisan distillery in the island, a 100% family-owned, producing over 50,000 cases of different types of handcrafted rums per year. Destilería Coquí, Inc. is proud to work with an extended family of 25 great colleagues that take pride every day in producing the best handcrafted rums in Puerto Rico.
